Why Choose TAKTL®

01

Ultra High Performance Concrete

A proprietary A|UHPC formulation produces a dense, high-strength material over four times stronger than traditional precast concrete, with low permeability and superior resistance to environmental degradation.

02

Reinforced panel construction

Panels are reinforced with alkali-resistant (AR) glass fibre and multiple layers of AR glass fibre mesh, delivering enhanced structural integrity, crack resistance, and long-term performance under load.

03

Non-combustible and impact resistant

TAKTL® panels are Class A non-combustible and exceed the highest rating under ASTM 1629 for impact resistance, with excellent freeze-thaw performance and a graffiti-resistant sealer applied as standard.

TAKTL® Overview

Architectural Ultra High Performance Concrete (A|UHPC®) Façade Panels

TAKTL® is an advanced Architectural Ultra High Performance Concrete (A|UHPC®) façade system engineered for demanding architectural applications. Developed through a proprietary formulation and automated manufacturing process, TAKTL® panels deliver exceptional strength, durability, and surface consistency compared with traditional precast concrete and GFRC systems.

By optimising the ratio of engineered materials and tightly controlling the production process, TAKTL® achieves a high packing density that enhances both compressive and flexural strength while minimising porosity. This results in a dense, durable material with superior resistance to environmental degradation, making it suitable for high-performance exterior and interior cladding applications.

Key features

  • Ultra High Performance Concrete Composition: manufactured using a proprietary A|UHPC formulation that reduces capillary porosity, improving long-term durability and resistance to environmental exposure.
  • Reinforced Panel Construction: panels reinforced with alkali-resistant (AR) glass fibre and multiple layers of AR glass fibre mesh for enhanced structural integrity and crack resistance.
  • Advanced Manufacturing Process: automated production system integrating material formulation, mould fabrication, and manufacturing — ensuring consistent quality, precise tolerances, and repeatable finishes.
  • Surface Finishes and Design Flexibility: cast into moulds to create intrinsic surface textures, with additional finishes via aggregates and controlled media-blasting. Custom finishes, profiles, and surface treatments available.
  • Delivered Ready for Installation: supplied pre-cut and pre-drilled for attachment, with the ability to be field cut and drilled as required.

Applications in New Zealand

TAKTL® panel systems are suitable for use as exterior and interior cladding across commercial, civic, and residential projects. The system can be incorporated into a variety of wall assemblies, including ventilated rainscreen façades, unitised systems, and prefabricated wall panels. TAKTL panels are designed as an engineered rainscreen system — compliance with NZBC is achieved through reference to ASTM American testing and project-specific engineering.

  • Exterior façade cladding for commercial and high-rise buildings.
  • Rainscreen systems for ventilated cavity wall construction.
  • Unitised and prefabricated wall systems.
  • Interior wall linings and partitions.
  • Feature walls and architectural elements.
  • Re-clad and refurbishment projects.

Why architects specify TAKTL®

  • High strength-to-weight ratio compared with traditional concrete systems.
  • Low permeability and long-term durability in demanding environments.
  • Excellent resistance to impact, freeze-thaw, and environmental exposure.
  • Wide range of textures, colours, and custom design options.
  • Precision manufacturing for consistent façade outcomes.
