Why Choose DIBOND by 3A Composites

01

Lightweight with high rigidity

DIBOND combines two 0.3mm aluminium cover layers with a polyethylene core — delivering excellent dimensional stability, high rigidity, and low weight for large-format interior panels and signage applications.

02

Excellent processing parameters

DIBOND can be bent, routed, folded, and printed on using screen printing or direct-to-substrate digital printing. The absolutely flat surface is optimised for UV printing and photo mounting applications.

03

Stocked and distributed locally

Stock colours are held locally for fast turnaround. Additional colours and finishes are available on indent. Low thermal expansion and high corrosion resistance make DIBOND a durable long-term interior solution.

DIBOND Overview

The original aluminium composite panel, made in Germany since 1992

DIBOND was developed in 1992 by 3A Composites and is one of the most widely specified aluminium composite materials in the world. Its structure — two 0.3mm thick aluminium cover layers bonded to a polyethylene or mineral core — delivers an absolutely flat, lightweight, and highly rigid panel suitable for large-format applications.

DIBOND is distributed locally across New Zealand and is suited to a wide range of applications including architectural interior design, large signage, display and exhibition builds, POS/POP retail installations, digital and screen printing, photo mounting, and transport applications.
