Why Choose EQUITONE Interior Panels

01

Non-combustible, fire safe

EQUITONE panels are non-combustible with no spread of flame — meeting BS8414-2:2015+A1:2017 requirements and suitable for commercial, health, and education interiors with stringent fire requirements.

02

Through-colour construction

Colour runs through the full depth of the panel — not a surface coating. This allows panels to be cut, perforated, engraved, and embossed with CNC or waterjet while retaining a consistent finish throughout.

03

50+ year installed life expectancy

The mineral composite construction is extremely durable and resistant to vermin, insects, mould, and fungi. Pre-finished panels require no on-site coating and no ongoing maintenance.

EQUITONE Interior Overview

A mineral surface that can be shaped, perforated, and transformed

EQUITONE is a mineral composite material — cement, cellulose, and mineral materials reinforced by a visible matrix — designed to be specified as an interior lining and feature panel system. Its through-colour construction means the material can be cut, perforated, embossed, and printed using waterjet or CNC technology, opening up a wide range of interior surface design possibilities without exposing a raw edge.

Interior fixing is via concealed clips or adhesive and tape using Sika products for invisible applications. Maximum panel size is 1250 × 3100mm, enabling large-format, monolithic interior surface treatments in commercial, hospitality, and institutional settings.

Designed for

  • Non-combustible interiors — compliant with BS8414-2:2015+A1:2017 with no spread of flame.
  • Large-format monolithic surfaces with maximum 1250 × 3100mm panel sizes.
  • Perforated, engraved, embossed, and custom-printed interior feature walls and ceilings via CNC or waterjet.
  • Invisible glue and tape fixing via Sika products for clean, fastener-free surfaces.
  • Commercial, health, education, and hospitality environments requiring durable, low-maintenance finishes.

Key material properties

  • Mineral composite construction: cement, cellulose, and mineral materials with visible matrix.
  • Through-colour throughout full panel depth — consistent finish even after cutting or machining.
  • Pre-finished from factory — no on-site coating, sanding, or painting required.
  • Resistant to vermin, insects, mould, and fungi with no ongoing maintenance needed.
  • Installed life expectancy of at least 50 years depending on site conditions.

Colour Range

Tectiva — available in stock

Sustainability

Certified environmental performance

All EQUITONE panels are certified with an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) per ISO 14025 and EN 15804, covering the Tectiva, Pictura, Materia, and Textura series.

The ventilated facade layer system is designed so components can be separated at end of life for individual recycling of fibre cement, aluminium, timber, or insulation. The installed life expectancy of 50+ years further reduces environmental impact over the full building lifecycle.
